Shabbat at Temple Menora
Shabbat at Temple Menorah
Our unique non-denominational community blends tradition and inclusivity. Families sit and pray together using traditional liturgy from the Orthodox ArtScroll Siddur
Every week, we begin Shabbat on Friday evening with a beautiful, Carlebach-style Kabbalat Shabbat service. On Saturdays, in addition to our full services and Torah reading, Rabbi Pearlson leads an interactive Torah study, where he teaches and invites questions, encouraging us to connect the weekly portion to our daily lives.
For families with children, we offer babysitting weekly in addition to a monthly family Chevra minyan giving children of all ages the chance to participate in services at their own pace.
We ask that all those in attendance turn off mobile phones and refrain from using any electronics on the Sabbath and holidays. Men are asked to cover their heads with a kippah.
