MAZEL TOV JACK AND AIDAN LEVI! It is with great pride and joy that we share Jack and Aidan’s B’nai mitzvah with you today. Our family has had the pleasure of being part of Temple Menorah since Jack and Aidan were very young and many of you have watched them grow up here. We are thankful for the important roles you have played in their lives and we are so happy to share this milestone with all of you.
We also thank our friends and family who have traveled near and far to be with us on this special day and we are extremely touched by both your love and support now and always. Finally, we would like to remember those who have passed but who are forever in our hearts. A very special mention of Jack and Aidan’s grandmother Joyce Spector, of blessed memory, who played a very strong role in their lives, loved them dearly and whose memory will always live on. Jack and Aidan are fortunate to be surrounded by amazing friends, many of whom they met while attending Lehrman Community Day School and David Posnack Jewish Day School and at this Temple. Both their education, as well as the moral compass they received while attending these schools and this Temple are gifts we hope they will value well into their adult years. We are proud that they excel in middle school, being named to the academic honor roll every semester as well as participating in many sports such as basketball and tennis. Finally, we would like to mention the Yin Yang symbol on their yarmulkes, which is made of fire and ice, illustrating how opposite forces may actually be complementary, interconnected and interdependent. This is similar to the way Aidan’s fiery personality and Jack’s calmness creates balance as they relate to one another and the world around them. In closing, we thank you for being here today and celebrating as our sons Jack and Aidan become men in our community.
With love and gratitude,
Dana and Andrew Levi
