Let's face it - Pesach sedarim this year will be more challenging than in years past. Many of us have never made Pesach before in our homes or we are used to be invited out to friends and family.
We at Menorah want to make sure that no one in our community goes without a Seder this year. That is why we have arranged a fully catered Seder meal (with Seder plate) for both Seder nights for anyone who - for whatever reason - finds making a Seder too difficult this year.
These meals will be free of charge and will be funded by the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund and Rabbi Josh's Hospitality Fund.
To take advantage of this offer, just click hereand provide Rabbi Josh with your name, address, phone number, e-mail, and how many meals you might need. If you know of other Temple Menorah members who live alone, older couples who are self-quarantining, or any other members who for whatever reason find making Pesach too difficult, please contact them directly to let them know about this arrangement. These Seder reservationsmust be submitted by this Friday, April 3rd.
At the beginning of our Seder we declare - "Kol Dichfin Yeitei V'yeicholl" - everyone who is hungry come and eat." Let us make sure that everyone in our Menorah community this year has a Seder.
We only have limited funds available for this endeavor, so if you would like to make a donation to help our community with this holy mitzvah, you can contact Rabbi Josh or make your online donation here;we are waiving the 3% credit card fee for donations at this time. Please make sure to choose Rabbi's Discretionary Fund from the payment type drop down menu and add "Passover Assistance" to the payment notes section. If you would like to help us deliver these meals, please contact Rabbi Josh directly at 305-878-5734.
In addition, please join us on Zoom on Erev Pesach at 5:30pm for a pre- Pesach Seder celebration led by Rabbi Josh & the Kunis Family and with words of Torah from Rabbi Pearlson. You can follow at this link here Choose Join Meeting and when prompted, enter the meeting ID 649 646 6938 followed by #.
Lastly, we are here for you. Though we don't see you in person, we want you to know that we are available to answer your questions and talk about anything. And again, please let us know right away (this week) if you would like us to deliver Seder meals directly to your homes.
