Seth is a native of Miami Beach and has grown up at Temple Menorah. He attended Beth Moshe for pre-school, Lehrman Community Day School for elementary, and is currently a 7th grade student at Posnack. Seth has been on the cross-country and swimming teams at Posnack and is joining the tennis team this year. He plays tennis regularly at the San Souci Tennis Center and is a competitive chess player. He competes in both Grand Prix and Quad chess tournaments. Seth loves to swim and is a member of the North Miami swim team. He competes in open ocean mile swim races, 5k and 10k runs, and sprint Triathlons. In addition, he loves to scuba dive and snowboard.
Seth regularly volunteers at the Kosher Food Bank, delivers food basket through JCS and serves meals at the Senior Center. He participates in J-CON (Temple Menorah’s youth group) and does mitzvah projects with them. Seth is contributing money from his Bar Mitzvah gifts to purchase tefillin for IDF soldiers that cannot afford to buy them. He will be distributing the tefillin during his Bar Mitzvah trip to Israel in early April.
Seth is the youngest of five children. Allison, Brianna, Joshua, and Noa have all had their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs here at Temple Menorah. We are all very proud of Seth’s many accomplishments and are so excited to share this very special occasion with you today.
