COVID-19 EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation GMJFhas established a program to provide short-term relief in the form of grants and interest-free loans to individuals and families who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
This program will provide: · Emergency grants of up to $1,500 per household to provide online gift cards or pay critical bills on behalf the grantee. · Emergency interest-free loans of up to $3,000 disbursed directly to the borrower with repayment beginning six months following disbursement.
Loans and grants are intended to address critical needs including: · Rent or mortgage payments · Utilities · Food · Medical expenses and medications · Childcare costs · Emergency household needs
