Dear Temple Menorah Family, We are so excited and proud to be able to share our son’s Bar Mitzvah with you. Many of you have watched Jacob grow up in this synagogue, as he has spent countless Shabbats and High Holidays between the Main Sanctuary and the “Mommy & Me” room. Many of you have played a very important part in our lives and we are so thrilled that he has reached this milestone, surrounded by his dearest family, friends, and Temple Menorah
community. We cannot help but think of Jacob’s grandfather and Lilly’s husband, Felix Libhaber z'l, who passed away in 2018, and we know he is here with us in spirit. Jacob has always demonstrated a great strength of character and loyalty to his family and friends. He has a strong sense of pride in his Jewish faith, and an ardent love of sports, especially basketball. Jacob is an avid roller coaster fan. He has visited some of the best roller coaster parks in the country and loves not only riding coasters, but knowing details about roller coaster design and history. Jacob is in 7th grade at Ruth K Broad K-8 Center, and he has attended Temple Menorah's Hebrew School. He is an excellent student and has been inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. He is also a member of Temple Moses. He also loves to spend time with his family, including his sister Julia, his dog Tux, and his friends. Thank you for being here with us today. We are so incredibly proud of Jacob and we are so fortunate to have such amazing friends and family who support him. With love, Violet, Bruce, and Julia Libhaber
