Brothers for Life is a non-profit organization, created and run by injured Israeli veterans, which gives critical and immediate help to other injured Israeli combat veterans who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the Jewish people. Cholent Cook–Off: Jewish tradition does not allow cooking on Shabbat unless the food was put up to cook on Friday. Cholent is a slow-cooked stew prepared on Friday and traditionally eaten for Saturday lunch. ABOUT THE COOK-OFF We will have different members participate with their special recipe, with all the prep at Olemberg Hall on by Friday, January 24; tasting and voting will take place on Saturday, January 25.

Hostages Bodies Recovered From A Hamas Tunnel: The IDF announced that the bodies of father and son, Youssef and Hamza (age 2) Ziyadne, who were kidnapped on October 7 and previously believed to be among the living hostages. Ziyadne, an Israeli Bedouin and father of 19, was abducted with three of his children. Two of whom, Bilal and Aisha, were released during the ceasefire agreement in November 2023.
Victims of January 6 Terrorist Attack on Route 55: Palestinian terrorists armed with assault rifles opened fire on two cars and a bus, killing sisters-in-law Aliza Raiz, 70, and Rachel Cohen, 73, as well as Elad Winkelstein (35). Eight others were wounded in the attack.
