We the Nation and People of Israel Mourn Our Brethren Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of Palestinian Terrorists — torn apart in one senseless moment this past week.
Lucy (Leah) Dee (48) z'l Maia Dee ( 20) z'l Rina Dee (15) z'l
Sisters Maia and Rina, and their mother Lucy Dee were murdered when a terrorist riddled their car with bullets while on their way to a family vacation.
Rabbi Leo Dee, father and husband of the victims, described his older daughter Maia as "beautiful and perfect" and as a "guardian angel" who planned to commit to a second year of national service. He explained that Rina had wanted to travel
the world, and that now she will be "traveling to heaven." Maia, Rina and Lucy are survived by their father and 3 other siblings.
May their memory be a blessing.

Mazal Tov Daniel Amsel! Daniel Yomtov, a Miami Beach native, became the first grandson in the Amsel Neumann Families on January 05, 2010 and spent some of his early years in Caracas. He studied at "Hebraica Moral y Luces Herzl-Bialik" until the age of 9 when Daniel moved back to Miami Beach with his family. He completed elementary school at Lehrman and is currently enrolled in 7th grade at Scheck Hillel.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing soccer, video games,
chess, and ping-pong. His unique sense of dark humor often brings laughter to those around him. At school, he excels in math and science, but it is his dedication to his Judaic studies, such as Rabbinics and Torah, that truly sets him apart. His teachers have described him as a profound and deep thinker. Despite his many talents, Daniel remains a respectful and mature young boy who treats everyone with kindness. He has a younger brother, Joel Abraham, who is currently in Elementary School at Scheck Hillel, and a beloved dog named Brownie who joined the family during the pandemic. Looking towards his future, Daniel is interested in pursuing a career in medicine or science.

We the Nation of Israel Mourn Our Brethren Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of Palestinian terrorists — torn apart in one senseless moment.
Hillel Menahem (22) and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv (19), brothers from Har Bracha (near Mount Gerizim), were murdered by a terrorist when their car came to a traffic light in the Arab village of Hawarra. Hillel recently completed his military service in the Israeli Navy and was studying in a yeshivah in Kiryat Shmona. Yagel was a yeshivah student in Givat Olga, preparing for IDF service. They are survived by their parents and 3 younger siblings. Elan Ganeles (26), an Israeli with U.S. citizenship, was murdered by a terrorist while driving near Jericho. Elan grew up in West Hartford, CT and made aliyah. He served in the IDF and then attended Columbia University. He was known as being kind and funny. He worked for the Knesset Finance Committee and was involved in local communal work. Even as a teenager he volunteered for the Jewish Family Services in West Hartford.
