Mazal Tov Annie! Annie is the daughter of PJ Tanz and Brian Slomovitz. She is a sixth grade student at Scheck Hillel. Her favorite subjects are orchestra, in which Annie is learning to play the violin, and English. Outside of school, Annie studies voice and is exploring a new-found passion for basketball. She can often be found rooting for the Florida Panthers alongside Dad and indulging in reality TV with Mom. Camp Pinecliffe in Harrison, Maine, holds a special place in Annie's heart. She loves her camp friends and enjoys honoring Pinecliffe's century-old
traditions with them. Annie is excited to celebrate her bat mitzvah with her family at Temple Menorah. During this school year, Annie participated in WIZO's bat mitzvah program. She met many new girls her age and engaged in amazing volunteer experiences, learning about the impact she can have on her community. Annie hopes to continue to be involved in chesed and give back to her community in years to come. She will start by taking over her older siblings’ Sadie and Eli’s chores.
