Belle Madison Diamond, daughter of Kara Rosen & Leon Diamond, is honored to celebrate her Bat Mitzvah with her family and dearest friends on the 5th of April, 2024. Belle has made her family so proud as she carries on this tradition and becomes an adult in our Jewish Community. Belle was born on May 4th, 2011 in London, England. Minutes after being born, the nurses told us, we had a ‘spirited one’! Belle and her family recently moved to Miami where she attends the 7th grade at Miami Country Day School. Belle is a national,
award-winning dancer with the London Dance Project and has performed on stages all across England. Belle also attends Camp Mataponi in Maine where she has met incredible friends and received the Golden Feather award for friendship. Belle truly values her relationships and is an incredibly loyal and supportive friend, daughter and the very best big sister to 6-year-old Charlie. It’s a testament to Belle’s incredible spirit that we have such loved friends and relatives who have traveled from Australia, England, Spain, New York, DC, Connecticut, California and Utah to share in this joyous occasion. We are so grateful for each one of you. We are missing bubbie and papa David who couldn’t make the long trip from Australia and papa Steve. Belle is also a devoted granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Since she was little, Belle has always treasured her elderly family members and community members. Belle was a popular regular at her great-grandmothers assisted living facility where she would share tic-tacs and her toy dolls. In London, she participated in the ‘adoption’ of a grand friend, exchanging letters about their pasts. Now, for her mitzvah project, Belle has started a community outreach program to help the elders in our neighborhood offering up companionship, help with grocery shopping, dog walking, technology support and simply being a local neighbour to call on for a few elders living alone. In her spare time, Belle enjoys having a busy schedule hanging out with her friends, keeping up with her London and camp friends and the “occasional” trip to Sephora! Belle would like to thank Rosalind Lanes for her always cheery and gracious attitude while helping her prepare for her Bat Mitzvah as well as Rabbi Pearlson and Rabbi Kunis and her parents for this wonderful opportunity. We are so very proud of Belle and the spectacular woman that she is becoming. It is such a privilege to know and love her. Thank you for sharing in our joy and celebration of Belle today.
Thank You to David, Irina and Alana Weinshel of Kosher Wine Warehouse for sponsoring the Wine Tasting at the Shabbat Dinner in honor of Rabbi's Birthday!
