Cpt. Omer Maxim Neutra, 21, of New York,immigrated to Israel at age 18 and enlisted as a lone soldier in the IDF. A platoon commander in the 77th Battalion, 7th (Storm from the Golan) Armored Brigade, the IDF has confirmed he was killed in the fighting on October 7 and his body abducted to Gaza by Hamas terrorists.
