Sabrina Finvarb, daughter of Laura & Ronny Finvarb, will be called to the Torah in honor of her Bat Mitzvah on Feb. 28, 2025. She is a proud graduate of Lehrman Community Day School and is currently in 7th grade at Miami Country Day School. Sabrina is the sweetest, most thoughtful daughter and an equally amazing little sister to Josh and Matthew. Her big brothers love spending quality time with her—whether in the pool, at the beach, boating, playing basketball, or working on puzzles—always with plenty of laughter.
Sabrina’s magnetic personality and incredible sense of humor are just a couple of the reasons she has so many friends at school and Camp Laurel. She is kind-hearted, considerate, and funny, always bringing joy to her family and friends. Her positive attitude and infectious smile make an impact wherever she goes. Sabrina excels in school, is a member of her school’s lacrosse team, and enjoys playing tennis in her free time. She also plays the piano and loves performing in dance shows. Traveling is one of her greatest passions, and she cherishes the time spent exploring different parts of the world with her family, especially skiing in Colorado and Utah. She treasures special moments with her grandparents in St. Barths and the Bahamas and eagerly anticipates summers in Maine with her friends at Camp Laurel. For her Bat Mitzvah project, Sabrina is raising funds and dona-ting a portion of her gifts to support the rebuilding of the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center, which was tragically destroyed in the Southern California wildfires. Sabrina’s drive and determination—whether in sports, the arts, or the classroom—are truly exceptional. We are incredibly proud of all that she has accomplished! She takes great pride in her Jewish heritage and has worked extremely hard for this special day. We are honored to celebrate Sabrina’s Bat Mitzvah with our beloved family and friends. Sabrina is grateful to Rabbi Pearlson, Rabbi Josh, and Rosalind Lanes for their invaluable guidance and support in helping her prepare for this meaningful Bat Mitzvah milestone. She is deeply grateful to her family and friends for their unwavering love and encouragement, which make this celebration even more meaningful.
