Mazal Tov Alexander Ben-Shmuel! Alexander Eliahu Ben-Shmuel of Miami Beach, Florida is the son of Cristina and Shlomi Ben-Shmuel. Alexander will be called to the Torah in honor of his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Menorah on November 7th, 2020. Alexander is currently in 7th grade at Miami Country Day School and is a graduate of Lehrman Community Day School and of the Cuban-Hebrew Montessori School at Temple Beth Shmuel. Alexander is an amazing brother to his two sisters, Mia and Eva, and to his baby brother, David. He truly enjoys their company. Alexander is kind, intelligent, responsible and
caring individual making him an excellent role model to his siblings. Alexander is a loving grandson to his Abuela Gladys, Abuelo Leopoldo and Safta Sonya and to his late Saba Eliahu. Alexander enjoys traveling with his family around the world and learning about different cultures. He has traveled to Israel, Italy, Greece, France, England, Morocco, Turkey, Anguilla, Colorado, Maine and New York. Alexander is a wonderful student that excels in Mathematics and rises to all his academic challenges. Over the years, Alexander has played on many teams and participated in various tournaments at his schools and other organizations. He was on the Junior Varsity basketball team at Miami Country Day School and at Lehrman he was on the football and basketball teams. He also plays football and basketball at the Miami Beach JCC. We are all very proud of the man Alexander is becoming and all his accomplishments. His dedication to his Bar Mitzvah and Judaic studies is exemplary. Mazal Tov! We love you!
